Description:
•They eat mainly ants, termites and other small invertebrates, but can also eat amphibians, small reptiles, bird eggs, baby mammals, carrion, fungi, tubers, fruits and seeds.
•They are extensive burrowers. One animal can make up to 12 burrows on it's range.
•They are solitary and mainly nocturnal animals.
Habitat:
Scrublands, open prairies, tropical rainforests, grassland
-I saw this armadillo in Foz do Iguaçu (PR, Brazil)
