Field Notes

Habitat:

Open areas with host plants. Larva feed on Milkweeds, also other genera in the Asclepiadaceae family. Adults take nectar.

Notes:

There were a number of these butterflies today in the garden that I had not seen before here mixed in with the regular Monarchs that I see all the time.
