Field Notes

Description:

•They eat fruit, invertebrates, other small animals and bird eggs.
•Females can live in groups of 15 to 30 animals, The males are usually solitary.
•When they sound an alarm call, they climb in trees, and then drop down to the ground and disperse.

Habitat:

Forests
-I saw these coatis in Foz do Iguaçu (PR, Brazil)
