Description:

This was a large sea slug (about 26 inches) that can reach 30 inches. The color was reddish which is determined by the red algae they consume They often blend into their environment.

Habitat:

Spotted in a tide pool at low tide at the Point Loma Tide Pools in San Diego, California.
