Field Notes

Habitat:

Growing on road sides and disturbed areas. The landscape seemed very arid and rocky with acacias, cacti, and aloes.

Notes:

I like the Papiamentu name much better "corona de la birgen" (the virgin's (Mary's) crown.) A local man saw me taking pictures and started talking to me about it. It is used as a home remedy in a tea.
