Field Notes

Notes:

The last photo is out of focus. Sorry about that.

Memo:
As seen in the pictures of the reference link.
The insect lays antennas back to sleep.
That did I photographed about 2 hours of footage later.

Comments (1)

Cerambycidae, Cerambycinae, Trachyderini, Chydarteres striatus. I first thought it was Oxymerus luteus, but then I noticed the missing black spots behind the pronotum. https://apps2.cdfa.ca.gov/publicApps/plant/bycidDB/wdetails.asp?id=6450&w=n So, I am quite confident with Chydarteres striatus. http://www.cerambycoidea.com/foto.asp?Id=1558 http://www.biolib.cz/en/image/id111319/ http://www.biolib.cz/en/image/id195653/ http://www.biolib.cz/en/image/id111317/ http://www.ecoregistros.com.ar/site/especie.php?id=1461
