Description:

Sat for quite a while, occasionally spreading out one or both of its wings. Later, it flew away and appeared to be fine. Not sure what to make of the behavior.

Habitat:

Residential, coastal.

Added 2 more photos to this in order to show the "stretching" behavior. Stretching left in photo 3 and right in photo 4. Does anyone have a guess as to why a hawk would behave this way? It seemed like a human stretching after a workout, but could also maybe be drying the wings?
