Description:

The snail is colored with dark dots and streaks on the body. It can be up to 20 cm long.

In the forest under a rotten tree stump

Thank you Neil. I was looking for woodlouse and millipede. Then I found out that some of them is hiding in gaps in rotten tree stumps. Perhaps this is the way they survive the winter.
Cool spotting, Arne. I haven't seen a leopard slug in years. They are quite beautiful up close.
