Description:

Chocolate brown to deep orange Hesperiid butterfly resting on foliage. Clear (white) spots on forewings. White apical fringe of hindwing points to this being a female.

Habitat:

Resting on foliage in a meadow clearing surrounded by dense mixed hardwood forest.
