Description:

There are relatively few animals in Singapore with which these birds can associate with but they still gather in open fields, sometimes in large numbers. They feed on insects of all sizes and also small frogs, lizards and anything else small enough to swallow.
Grazing animals stir up ground dwelling insects making them easier to see and catch and they will often use such animals as a lookout perch.
