Field Notes

Description:

Gray cat ~0.5m long, less tail.

Habitat:

Suburban neighborhood on insular tropical upland plateau.

Notes:

Spotted on my back fence by my trail/wildlife motion-sensing camera. This is probably either a feral Felix, or a house cat out for an evening patrol. Or it may be something else. My youngest granddaughter believes it's a caticorn, a feline unicorn. "You can see the horn!" My oldest, no-nonsense granddaughter replied, "That's it's ear!" Good observational assessment, but isn't innocent imagination marvelous?
