Field Notes

Description:

They live and eat tree leaves (Pacae spp) making shadow for the coffee plantation, they seem to be nocturnal, they spend the day on a side of the tree (usually the eastern side) always in groups, very close from each other as a patch, their droppings collect at the base of the tree and you can usually find an ants nest pretty close to the dropings.

Habitat:

Coffee plantation 1500 masal

Notes:

The are almost on every pacae tree this time of the year
