Field Notes

Description:

Black, squishy and full of seeds! Pretty sure this is the scat from the southern race of Sasquatch sometimes referred to as skunk ape! Or maybe it is simply raccoon scat.

Habitat:

Bankhead National Forest on a paved road.

Notes:

I stopped for this when I was road cruising for reptiles and amphibians. Stopped because it looked like an animal at first. Pretty sure I need new glasses!

Thank you Ashley, Lori and Pradeep! Lori I would love to see wombat poo! Please do post!
Well done. Those skunk apes are exceptionally shy. Now I'm going to have to post some wombat poo. It's cube shaped. Really.
