Description:

Also called Harlequin Ghost Pipefish. Up to 11 cm.
Short skin filaments in snout and body and fins with jagged edges, giving spiky appearance. Frequently hovering head down among arm of crinoids, black and soft corals, gorgonians etc. Feed primarily on small crustaceans snapped from open water or off the bottom.

Habitat:

Lankayan Island, Borneo.
