Description:

A large orange Ichneumonid Wasp, a male as it does not have an ovipositor. About 1.6 cm long. Family Ichneumonidae.

Habitat:

Came to an ultraviolet light. Finca Argovia, Ruta de Cafe, Soconusco area of southern Chiapas, Mexico. About 1 hour from Tapachula.
