Description:

Adult green lacewing. The green lacewing adults eat pollen and honeydew and are not predatory, but the larvae have been recorded as feeding on seventy different prey species in five insect orders.

Habitat:

Spotted on a garland chrysanthemum flower in the little valley between Pnyx and Aeropagus, north-west of the Acropolis of Athens.
