Field Notes

Description:

Pyrrhocoridae, couldn't identify the right name, but it is obviously common, here is a spotting from Singapore http://creatureboom.blogspot.com/2010/01/cotton-stainer-bug.html

There is however one controversial information on the internet, on this site it was identify as a nymph from Dysdercus decussatus, http://www.natureloveyou.sg/Plant%20Story/Nature%20Walk_SBWR_0210.html I think that this is very unlikely since it wings are fully developed

Habitat:

Tropical dry forest.
