Description:

Caterpillar, probably 3rd or 4th instar, found on Sassafras (S. albidum)

Habitat:

Woodlands, typically near stands of sassafras or spicebush, upon which it hosts.

Notes:

Also sometimes called a 'Green clouded swallowtail'
