Field Notes

Description:

Quolls are carnivorous dasyurid marsupial native to Australia

Notes:

There are two quolls in the picture. One has it's head nestled in the shoulder of the other. I spotted them at a wildlife park in Southern TAS

Species ID Suggestions

Comments (1)

Well as I understand the Eastern Quoll is native to Tasmania only, and as it seems the location of your sighting is Tasmania it would very likely be an Eastern Quoll or Eastern Native Cat (Dasyurus viverrinus)
