Description:

A slightly unusual larva about 24mm long. Three pairs of real legs and 5 pairs of 'prolegs'

Habitat:

On the lower trunk of a very large eucalyptus.

Notes:

Caterpillar? sawfly larva? 5 pairs of pseudo-legs indicates caterpillar. Compare to this brute... http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/122936003
