Field Notes
Description:
A mostly brown-gray bird with a white edge on the wing while not in flight. There is also a small black patch on the upper neck.
Habitat:
Found in the southwestern US and Central America, they are becoming increasingly more common in urban areas. There was a pair at the feeding station at Palo Duro Canyon SP.
