Field Notes

Description:

Empty and upturned shell of the Gopher Tortoise. Appears it had been there a long time.

Habitat:

It was in a low area on the outer edge of a Cypress dome that fills up w/ water during the rainy season and drys to nothing in the dry season. It all sits in a cow pasture.
