Field Notes

Description:

The juvenile has plain yellow and brown bands with any mottling like the adults have. They are a terrestrial gecko and do not have the typical round gecko toe pads.

Habitat:

They are found in semi-arid rocky habitats in western Texas, New Mexico, and Mexico. This guy was found under a rock.
