According to The Collins Guide to Mushrooms and fungi by Paul Sterry you need a microscope to distinguish, with certainty, between C. luteoalba http://data.nbn.org.uk/interactive/map.jsp?srchSp=NBNSYS0000020759, C. helvola http://data.nbn.org.uk/interactive/map.jsp?srchSp=NHMSYS0001477900 and C. laeticolor http://data.nbn.org.uk/interactive/map.jsp?srchSp=NHMSYS0001477902 judging by NBN gateway distributions, C. helvola is the most common so I'll go with that for now!
