Description:

galls found on the top surface of an old fallen brown Willow Oak leaf; they are hard, 1 ⁄16″ to 3 ⁄16″ in diameter, and irregular in shape; green in the spring but now brown & crusty with a cracking surface; can easily be pulled off the leaf.

Habitat:

Willow Oak on urban school campus
