Description:

Found this baby turtle wandering in the middle of a highway near Ely, mn. Picked him up, and brought him to the lake.

Yeah, but the lake has tons of painted turtles that hang out on a fallen tree just off the shore, I figured it was better than being crushed by a car. Thanks for the concern 😃🐢

I'm not a turtle expert but never throw a turtle in a lake unless you know what species it is...but, thanks for rescuing it!
