Description:

A common gecko found in the Sydney basin, they can shed their tail as a decoy to predators. They are a popular pet.

Habitat:

Rocky bush areas around Sydney, human settlement: bricks, woodpiles, sheds and garages.

Notes:

Taken under the house at night with a flash.
