Field Notes

Description:

About 50mm tall and 35mm wide; almost translucent on top, white with some indication of gills; pale gills fairly free; dark spores; pileus flat to slightly domed; stipe narrow, smooth, white.

Habitat:

Shaded tall damp eucy forest.

Notes:

They do vary in colour and general appearance a lot but I'm not 100% either. Supposedly they fight cancer pretty well though :-)
Thanks gully.moy - I'm not 100% on candolleana but it's good for now.
Perhaps Psathyrella candolleana? Looks like a Psathyrella...
