Pink flowers that were "stuck" together on a disk like platform.
Some were open at the end and some fuchsia like plumes came out.
The plant itself looked succulent like.

The individual flowers were about 1 cm long.

Habitat:

High on a karst mountain. Chaehom area. Thailand.

Notes:

These were growing near a temple high on a mountain. I am not sure whether they are wild or "cultured"

Great! Thank you SukanyaDatta!!! I have been wondering about this plant. Gorgeous and unexpected.
Can anyone re-look at this spotting please. When downloading on mobile I can not choose which is the front picture so it kind of disappeared.
