Wisteria floribunda has the leaves and flowers are on the plant at the same time and I believe Wisteria sinensis flowers on woody growth and the leaves follow if that is any help
Cool, the plant growing over this house is called Wisteria! It's used a lot to "decorate" houses, a lot of houses in the villages near me have loads of Wisteria on the front. It's hard to know which species this is, but I think the most commonly cultivated species is Wisteria sinensis, since it's the hardiest of the bunch. For now, I would put the scientific name was Wisteria sp. (that just indicates is some species in the Wisteria genus). Here's some more info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wisteria Neat spotting!
