Field Notes

Description:

They have a brown back and a gray chest. The head is white with two thick, black stripes, and the throat is also white. There are two yellow spots on either side of the face near the eye.

Habitat:

Found throughout North America, with the exception of the interior US. There were 2 or 3 of these guys hanging out at the feeders at Palo Duro Canyon SP.
