Field Notes

Description:

Bright pink moth, 3 cm long. The first two pictures are the same individual, the third picture is a second individual with brown thoracic hair. The 4th and 5th pictures were taken on 7 March 2014. This moth can be either pink or brown and both can be seen together.

Habitat:

Came to an ultraviolet light in the garden, San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters.
