Field Notes

Habitat:

Grassed coastal.

Notes:

Sorry the pic is a bit crap, I didn't want to scare him off before getting his photo and it was on my phone. Most likely a juvenile since I've seen similar but larger sized dragons in the grassed areas near beach side paths here. The others have been greenish grey but this one was more grey than green so I could be wrong about it being the same species. Was about 15cm from nose to tail. His head was blunt not pointy like a skink. He had a distinct brow.

Thanks. Those are two I came up with in my research online but wasn't sure. I'm going with Jacky Dragon since the territory and habits fit.
Hard to tell for sure, but given where you have spotted it, I'd say it's most likely a Jacky Dragon. Another possibility is a Nobbi Dragon, but might be little too south for that.
