Description:
Pinkish-brown little moth with black lines and spots, about 8 mm long. It stands against a surface at a 45 degree angle using only the 2nd two pairs of legs (which have very large tibial spurs). The first pair are small and held close to the underside of the thorax (pictures 2 and 3). Family Crambidae.
Habitat:
Garden lights, semi-rural residential area, San Cristobal de Las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico, 2,200 meters.
