Description:

Tiny brown bodied and hairy satellite fly of the genus Leucophora (family Anthomyiidae) on Anemone pavonina flower. Most of the Leucophora species are kleptoparasites of bees and wasps: they follow the bees or wasps back to their nests where they lay their eggs.

Habitat:

Spotted on a peackock anemone in a rocky meadow of Seih-Sou (suburban forest of Thessaloniki, Greece).
