Field Notes

Description:

Some more of my composting worms, these are E. hortensis. E. hortensis is a great species for composting "brown" material, and do better in a higher carbon than nitrogen enviorment as a result. Nightcrawlers can be invasive and thus if used in a composting system should be contained there.

Habitat:

Native to Europe.
