Description:

With 20 - 24cm a small, but long-tailed Turdoides babbler:

Curved bill
Plain white and buff underparts
Softly streaked upperparts
No streaks on head

Sexes are similar.

Iraq Babbler

Turdoides altirostris

Only Iraq Babbler and Common Babbler are found in Iran.
I think one of these is Jungle Babbler or Large Grey Babbler
Iraq Babbler because I think the one is larger than the one you're proposing is significantly smaller crown.
I may be wrong. Do you have a closer crop? If it is an Iraq Babbler, it'd be a new species for the PN database!
