Field Notes

Description:

This beautiful, orangy-redish-yellow flower has multiple layers of petals, and off white, seed like stems as the center that are the stigmas of the plant. The flower grows off of a green plant, with long, dark green leaves.

Habitat:

I found and took this picture at the Dairy Farm Nature Reserve and think it's a fascinating color and flower itself.

Notes:

I personally love this flower because of it's color, and shape. It really appeals to me because I like how there are different bursts of color, exploding off the petals like fireworks.
