Field Notes

Description:

•They eat bisons, deers, sheeps, rabbits, rodents, birds, amphibians (except toads), lizards, snakes, fish, crustaceans, insects, fruits, carrots, occasonally eating fishers, young black bears, harp seals and rattlesnakes.
•They are smaller than their close relative, the grey wolf.
•They are gregarious, but not as dependent on conspecifics as more social canids, like wolves are.

Habitat:

Grasslands, semiarid areas, mountains, plains, forests
-I saw this coyote in Naperville (USA)
