Description:

Orangutans have reddish brown long hair which covers their bodies. They like to eat fruit mainly, but will also eat vegetation, tree bark, birds eggs, insects, and honey. They can live for up to 30 years in the wild and in captivity. The orangutan has a large thick body, long and strong arms, and short, bowed legs.

Habitat:

Orangutans are exclusively asian, and can only be found in the wild of Borneo and Sumatra. They like to spend most of their time in trees, and are extremely intelligent in building tools and nests every night of of twigs, branches and foliage.
