White-tailed deer

Blood trail through the snow along with whitetail tracks. Perhaps it was shot by a hunter or was hit by a car. Blood spots were found near a highway so perhaps the deer was injured but not killed by a vehicle. I followed the tracks to see if their was a carcass but I found nothing
