Description:

•They eat grasshoppers, dragonflies, lizards, mice, voles ans small birds.
•They hunt by hovering in the air with rapid wing beats or perching and scanning the ground for prey.
•It's the only kestrel found in the Americas and the most common falcon in North America.

Habitat:

Grasslands, meadows, deserts and openand semi-open regions, urban and suburban areas
