Field Notes

Description:

This large spider, about the size of my hand has the body pattern similar to a bee. There is a red sack visible near it's bottom. This is where the webbing comes from. This spider stays still for the most part during the day, but travels more during the night. (nocternal) They have fast reactions.

Habitat:

I found this particular spider, in the middle of the pathway on it's large irregular web.
