Field Notes

Description:

The crocodile is dark grayish-brown in color with dark bands and spots on the body and the tail. The adult male was 6- 7 feet in length.

Habitat:

This is a fresh water crocodile and found in rivers. This crocodile was in a fresh water preserve pond certified by EarthCheck.

Notes:

This crocodile is a smaller and somewhat darker than the American Crocodile. An objective of the facility is to preserve native Mexican and Caribbean wildlife.
