Description:

Green anoles are 5-7 inches long. They change color between green and brown with hormone and temperature fluctuations. They hunt for insects during the daytime and no threat to humans. Birds prey on anoles when they hunt on their backs.

Habitat:

The green anole is common in the southeastern US. It likes moist forests. It lives in any area of shrubs and foliage. It can live in urban areas as well as low country plains.
