Field Notes

Description:

Reddish brown cap with pale cream edges, dark brown to black gills. I believe the little root-looking things you can see in the second photo are the mycelium of this species, but I am not positive.

Habitat:

Vine climbing on a fallen tree in Newnans Lake Conservation Area
