Description:

Tiny Rove Beetle about 6 mm long, red and black alternating body sections.
Family Staphylinidae. This one ran across the sheet under the Black Light.

Habitat:

Came to an ultraviolet light set up along the highway on a cliff between San Cristobal and Tuxtla Gutierrez, km 18.5, 1164 meters.
