Field Notes

Description:

A LARGE black locust with red markings.

Habitat:

Bush

Notes:

All the research I have done points to this being a Dictyophorus spumans, / Koppie foam grasshopper /milkweed locust, but I am not sure.
If so, is it poisonous to humans? I read that this is the Nymph stage??? It was very large for a nymph!!!
It was an amazing find, such a beautiful creature!!!
