Thanks bayucca, I'm happy with the species, I won't try to narrow it down to subspecies.
Forgot Reducta: http://www.butterfliesofamerica.com/L/eresia_clio_reducta_types.htm
Must be Eresia clio. Subspecies unknown (Clio or Reducta?). Spots matches (note white edges and some reddish, you will find this not in all pictures!) but the width of the white band is smaller than usual, but it could also be variable in size. Please, verify! There is also a Eresia clara, but this could be a synonym of Clio: http://www.flickr.com/photos/nsg_db/3429994526/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/nsg_db/3430069480/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/76033499@N00/6382837359/ http://www.butterfliesofamerica.com/L/eresia_c_clio_types.htm http://www.flickr.com/photos/neb31/4122926215/
