Some sort of moon snail I think, maybe Lunatia heros?

Beach at low tide

Species ID Suggestions

Most likely Lunatia heros or Neverita duplicata. The key to the identity is the underside of the whorl. If there is a flap similar to a human tragus covering the whorl hole it is Neverita duplicata.
